  I am in Australia and I will be partaking the emblems at home for the first time this year. Just a pity I have to attend the sham at the KH beforehand. After reading the scriptures in the right context and understanding what they mean I certainly do qualify as a worthy partaker. I hope to strengthen my faith in Jehovah and Jesus as a result of partaking. Finding out the TATT my spirituality has taken a beating.

  To those still "in" - how do you keep up a facade?

  i can't come out until the summertime.

  in the mean time, i have to feign interest like i want to stay so i don't end up homeless.. .

  i can't sit at the meetings without getting visibily irritated.

  Not easy i can tell u those meetings come around real quick. I just sit and stare at the material we are supposed to be discussing, look at my watch to see how much longer i have to be there and sigh. Field Service what another waste of time, seriously so many people just not interested. Perhaps they have been on the internet and done their research, good on them i say. I do minial hours each month. I am an older person with health problems so i can get away with it. I dont go to SAD, CA or DAs anymore cant cope with these at all.

  I decided to join the forum after lurking for quite some time. I am fed up with the cult just like so many others on here. This site has been a good thing for me to really see how bad things are in the Borg. I am able to see for myself things in WT studies that really are garbage, whereas before never really noticed things like I do now.

  Hi all

  I am new on here this is my third post. I really haven't introduced myself. Winston Smith I took your advise and started a new thread to tell you something about myself. I got sucked into the cult at a low point in my life, everything seemed rosey for a while and after I was baptised I began to find out things on the Internet (of course) about JWs that really made me sick ie sexual abuse etc. Anyway I am still active but want to be out one day. I've been in for less than 10 years so I glad I didn't waste my entire life in this cult as many on here have. Glad to see that there are a few Aussies on this board that's great.

  This is only my second post on here. I've been lurking for some time. I'm still in the cult. Great to here that you are in Sydney. I live on the beautiful Central Coast. I used to live in Sydney many years ago. Was born there in fact a long time ago. I hope to be free of the cult one day. Our CO was disfellowshipped beginning of January that sent shock waves through the Congs up here. It didn't shock me because I have resolved that I don't get shocked about anything or anyone no more I've had a gut full of crap in this life.

  hi guys,.

  i was just looking through www.reddit.com/r/exjw and there is a thread that was posted about four hours ago with the title "so our circuit overseer just got disfellowshipped" and there some basic details in their op.

  the location is given as central coast, australia, which is north of sydney.. there aren't many more details other than "it has sent shockwaves throguh the congregations" and a query on the protocol in situations like this.

  Hi all am new on here have been lurking for sometime. My first post. About Ray McDonald, I am in a cong in his circuit. He visited about 2 mths ago. I have always liked Ray he came across as a very nice guy. I even went door to door with him once years ago. His D/F was not announced at my cong meeting. I just heard it from some others. The grapevine works well here. Don't know the reason for him getting the axe, but surely it will come out one day. We have our CA this coming weekend and no Co that will be interesting. I won't be there so don't really care. I no longer attend SAD, CA or DAs anymore had a gut full of the crap. It's bad enough at the meetings.
